This book is great! It’s well written and well edited, unlike some I’ve read lately. All the material is clear and concise and easy to understand. The math is appropriate for the book, but for the non-interested reader, it can easily be skipped over without losing anything. The book is extremely complete, completing encircling the knowledge of light from all viewpoints: origins, relation to quantum mechanics, lenses, etc etc. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I really enjoyed this book. Is well written and illustrated. If you are a university teacher you can recommend it to your students as a collateral reading, if you are a layman interested in the nature of light, this is a also a good way to acquire a general view on this subject.
